Christmas Eve

Our Christmas Eve was quiet, which was very nice, actually. We made a Christmas Tree pizza and Snowman breadsticks. The girls thought they were really cool. They were yummy, too. Then we got their Christmas jammies on, got some cookies and milk for Santa and off to bed!

Santa's Little Helpers

Disney on Ice

We took the girls to Disney on Ice. Now, how do you not take 2 little darling girls to something called "Princess Wishes?" They thought it was awesome! It really was fun! Field was a really good boy! They really put on a great show!

Field's Blessing

We went to Utah for Thanksgiving and while there, we blessed our little baby boy. Kev's mom was able to fly in and join us! We had Gmas Vickie, Barb and Mary; Gpas Pat and Paul; Tricia and her boys; Bart and his family; Kim and her family; Brett and Lindsey with their brand new baby girl, Sloane; and Vickie brought her friend,Terry, who Kev knew from SD and who was in our ward in Omaha. We just did it at my parent's house and Kev gave him a wonderful blessing. He was mostly cooperative and looked very handsome in his suit.

Antelope Hunt

I realize it has been over a month, so here's a few things we've been up to.

Kev drew an antelope tag for Miles City, MT on the off chance we would be up that way this fall. Well, the off chance came. Kev had to be in Cheyenne the week before the hunt opened. He was planning on driving up and meeting up with his dad. He was so bummed that Avery couldn't take off two weeks of school to go with him. Then, about a week and a half before he left, he came home from work and looked at plane tickets. They had gone down about $200! So, we all went out to Utah and Avery got to go hunting with Kev. She was so excited!! And they got a pretty big one! She finally got to hold an antelope heart! That's the first thing she told me when she called! She loved every second of it! I'm so glad she got to go! And her teacher was so nice and didn't even make her do the spelling and math tests that she missed. She said she was doing so well that she wasn't worried about it!

Utah Fun

In Utah, Haley really enjoyed having tea parties. I'm not sure if my nephews have tea parties very often, but they sure like them! Haley got to go to real preschool with Grandma twice and had so much fun! She was so excited that she didn't even look back when I brought her the first day! When the hunters got back, we took the girls to a pool. Avery continues to demonstrate that she will indeed give me a heart attack before I hit 40! She loves to be under the water and thinks it's cool to stay under as long as she can. Between that and gymnastics, I'll never make it!
