Moving Day
Apparently March came faster than I expected. The movers are coming on Monday to start packing us up for our glorious move to Louisiana. We head out on Friday after they are done. This weekend Kev decided it would be a good idea to watch a show about Shreveport and the surrounding area on A & E. Probably not the best thing for me to watch before moving there. It's called Billy the Exterminator. He starts off saying that Shreveport has the most pest, rodent and insect infestations of anywhere in the country. LOVELY!!! Another episode (I guess we watched a marathon, I don't know) he said that with all these rodents, it's probably not the best place for people to live. REALLY! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?! This is after we saw him catch and RELEASE alligators, raccoons (I thought the one was rabid), snakes and bats. And kill THOUSANDS of black and brown widows (I didn't even know there was brown widows), mice, rats and these weird wasp things that apparently leave some sort of pheromone on you so the whole tribe can find you and eat you! But, I guess the good news is that I didn't see any cock roaches in the couple of episodes. SERIOUSLY, WHERE IS THE AIR FORCE TAKING US!?!

Sounds like Paula's paradise. Can I come too? ;) Sorry. Maybe you'll luck out and won't be there very long...
Oh No! I think you're right, probably not the best thing to watch so soon to moving. Maybe it won't be so bad, or maybe it is only in super swampy areas. (The whole area can't be swampy, can it?!!) But I am sure you guys are going to be just fine. And maybe Kevin will start hunting alligator!
What were you thinking?? Not good. If it means anything--I visited my brother in Covington and I didn't see any brown widow spiders---but I held an alligator. I am sure you will do just fine! Good luck
I'm so sad you're leaving! But then with your blog I'll be able to see what's up with you ... and I am definately looking forward to pictures of the baby when he gets here!
ok, so there are ginormous flying cockroaches there! look out! seriously, the whole south is one big swamp...don't swim in the water unless it's the sea and then look out for sharks!
