We went to a little town down south called Natchitoches with our friends, the Lams. Since we are Northerners, we have a problem saying Natchitoches (nack-a-dish), mainly because it is pronounced, like so many other things down here, completely different than it is spelled. Anyway, they have a Christmas festival and we went to it a few weeks ago. The library had crafts that the kids could do and then they had fireworks at the end of the night. It was a pretty fun time. And it will always be known at the Byrdhouse as Nacho Town.
