Avery's school does a Mardi Gras parade every year. The 2nd and 3rd graders build floats and throw beads and candy to the rest of the school. This was Avery's creation. She was pretty cute and had a fun time! I didn't get a picture of the back of her shirt. It says "Krewe of Windham" (Mrs. Windham is her teacher and the "krewes" here are the people who put on the parades, dinners, parties and stuff for Mardi Gras.)
