Posing Boys & a Girl

Dawson, Toby and Tryce were pretty good at posing. And Avery was in the pictures, too. I evidently burned her out to pictures a long time ago. She hates her picture taken now.

So, I had to be really fast on this picture. Luckily Kev was fast and she didn't quite get it all the way in her mouth. Thank goodness, my OCD would have gone nuts!

Avery wore this dress-up every day! She even wore it a couple of times to the store-even with the dress-up high heels!

The Christus

Avery saw a picture of this statue (the Christus) at church a couple of months ago. I told her it was at the Salt Lake Temple where Brett was getting married. So, whenever she talked about our trip to Brett's wedding, the first thing she would say was we are going to see the Christus.

Bart and Rylee

Bart and Lori
We always make fun of Bart because he can't keep his eyes open. This is the best we got. Rylee, 5; Cade, 3
(And another baby GIRL, due in August!)

So, not only can Bart not keep his eyes open for a picture, but he cannot take one as well.

Wedding Dinner

Thursday before the wedding, we had a wedding dinner. The kids enjoyed running around outside, but I caught these cute pictures of Avery and Cade playing with Haley.

Okay, since it's their wedding dinner, here are some pictures of Brett and Lindsey!

Brett and Lindsey's Wedding

Brett and Lindsey got married April 25, 2008 in the Salt Lake Temple. It was wonderful and she looked beautiful! Brett said on the way into the reception, "I have a wife!" It was a wonderful, yet busy, day. Luckily, the weather was better than the day before. It had snowed on Thursday, so mom and Brett were a little nervous. It was a little chilly, but gorgeous outside for the pictures.

Monthly Birthdays

Avery's peanut butter and jelly face! That's her favorite lunch!

We haven't quite figured out what Haley's hair wants to do. We are still waiting for it to grow a little longer so we can actually do SOMETHING with it!

More Hair

So, I straightened Avery's hair for church today, so this is the last hairstyle that I know how to do. So, if anyone has any opinions on the matter, feel free to let me know!

Avery's Hair

So, those that know me, know that I am not very girly-which may be an understatement. I am, after almost 4 years of having a girl, getting a little better at doing hair. I have yet to master french braiding. (Man, how do they get it so smooth and tight?) So, needless to say I thought I better have a plan for this upcoming wedding. These were a couple of my ideas thus far. It also looks really cute straightened with a flat iron (which doesn't take as much time-or hair spray) So, if I get really ambitious, I will take pictures of that also. Then if anyone has any feedback, I'd love to hear it!
This is before I realized you have to spray the curls while it is IN the curling iron. Like I said, I'm still learning such concepts! So, I like this, but it's not as cute in the front as I would like. And don't most people see the front of her?

I'm leaning towards this one. It took a long time! She has a LOT of hair! But, I put in Sleeping Beauty and she sat still the entire time!

Random Pics

Avery was pretending to be Mary, the mother of Jesus. Then came the six-shooter. Not exactly sure where that fits in, but she does have quite the imagination!

Haley has these beautiful, bright blue eyes that light up the room! Especially when she has her huge, mouth-open smile! She is a really happy baby, despite being sick almost the entire winter! She is fighting off yet another ear infection. She better get well soon, we leave for Brett's wedding in less than 2 weeks!
