Camping

What do the Byrds do when there is no school or work? Go camping of course! We went to the same place as we went Memorial Day weekend and had fun riding the 4wheeler, fishing and roasting dogs and mallows. The dogs were so excited they got to join us this time and since we were the only ones there until Saturday late morning, they got a lot of exercise running free! Avery caught a bunch of little, and I mean little, blue gill. Haley caught her first fish. She was so excited while she was reeling it in, and then ran quickly away from it! On the way back to camp, we saw a box turtle crossing the road. With salmonella far from HIS mind, Kev stopped to show it to the girls. Avery thought it was cool to touch it, Haley thought it was in the same category as the fish and wanted nothing to do with it! We got home at 10:26 this morning and we all showered, got dressed and were in the car at 10:59 to go to church. We may not have looked pretty (wet hair, unshaven) but at least we smelled better than before!
