4th of July

We had a fun 4th of July. We went to some friends' house for a BBQ and then went to the base lake to see the fireworks. We were at the base about 5 minutes waiting for it to get dark, when Avery decided she needed to go to the car. I got her in and then, she started to throw up on me. Needless to say, we went home and put the girls to bed and had a relaxing time on our deck watching all our neighbors shoot off their fireworks. We decided Avery must have been a little dehydrated, because you couldn't even tell the next morning that she had been sick. Evidently, I am a wonderful mom that lets her 4 year old get dehydrated. We did manage to do a few fireworks at home, including sparklers, which Haley loved and Avery was not a huge fan of. She got braver after she saw her baby sister hold one by herself and Daddy gave her a glove! She did light a tank (with Daddy's help) and run really fast away from it and found 1 out of 4 parachutes! So, all in all, a pretty fun 4th of July, even if I did get puked on!
