We went to the Children's Museum today with our friends, the Laytons: Carter, Taitum, Brennen (and of course Candis). They had so much fun! By the end, Haley and Brennen were really tired! Haley only made it a couple of blocks before she fell asleep. She really loved the dinosaurs! It didn't even scare her when they growled. Avery had such a blast! Her favorite part was digging for the dinosaur bones and playing with the moon sand. In the dinosaur exhibit, they had three dinosaurs "eating" another dinosaur. Taitum was very concerned about that. She kept asking, "Mommy, what are they doing to her?" I told Candis that Brian (her husband) needed to go hunting more. It doesn't even faze Avery that we eat deer. She thought the hunter in Bambi should have shot the dad, because he's the biggest buck! And last year she threw a fit when Kev brought the deer home right after he shot it and we wouldn't let her eat the leg. Oh, what a different lifestyle we are teaching our children!
